Hello, my name is Dustin Jhavon Burley and I am running for Anderson County District 1 Magistrate in the great Commonwealth of Kentucky. This race is historical because I will be the first black and gay county wide elected official of Anderson County Kentucky. I am a current student at American Public University System, a Career School graduate with a Child Psychology Certificate, I possess several years of professional managerial experience, along with a progressive track record of involvement in extracurricular activities with various associations and organizations.
My professional and academic career has been centered on education and access to educational resources for the underprivileged. Educational access for all is a goal I hold very close to heart and being, which is why I have developed so much of my life towards this goal, building the before mentioned relationships with the Kentucky Young Democrats, Young Democrats of America and the Southeast Regional Campaign Task Force Committee.
