Kellan is a 3 year old boy who was born with a rare bone marrow failure disorder called Diamond Blackfan Anemia.  His bone marrow can not produce enough red cells to keep him alive and so he has had to receive blood transfusions every month since he was born.  Kellan will be undergoing a bone marrow transplant in the spring and his family will have to move 2.5 hours away temporarily (for at least 3-4 months) to be closer to the hospital for the procedure.  His family needs help paying rent for the apartment while he is in the hospital and through his recovery stage.  Ronald McDonald House has been taken into consideration, however is not the best option for tranplant patients & their families as there are many other people moving through there and will therefore pose greater risk with more exposure to germs & illnesses.
