I will be travelling to Kuraburi, Thailand and spending 4 weeks over Christmas helping at a refugee community. 

No longer citizens of Burma and not considered citizens of Thailand, these individuals live in limbo in a small community without any government support.  They faced additional challenges in 2004 when the tsunami swept away what little they had.

I am going to support villagers in the country helping them achieve sustainable development on their terms, and helping with education. I will also support supplementary livelihood opportunities include handicraft production, organic gardens, and bakeries which can provide income that complements the villagers' traditional way of life.

I need your help to raise $2,000 as I am paying my own expenses and using vacation time to support these individuals over Christmas.
