Hello Friends,

This year has been probably the best year of my life. So many wonderful things have happened, and the best so far is the fact that I am a student at Matteson Mission School(matteson.no) in Norway! As a part of the program, I will be doing a mission internship in Honduras, at Vida International. While I'm there, the Generation of Youth for Christ conference in Orlando, Florida, will convene (January 1-5, 2014). I have attended the last two and have been involved volunteering for different parts to make it happen. I would really like to have the chance to go this year, and I am trying to find the finances, but as a missionary and student, I do not have an income.

Here is what you can do to help! If you will commit to donating 3-10% of my ~$700 cost, and the others who receive this letter also give that much, I will be able to attend.

Just so you know what you are supporting, Generation of Youth for Christ (GYC) is an annual conference lead by young people, designed for young people, and it provides many spiritual blessings to all who attend. During the conference, attendees go to seminars by many Adventist leaders, pray together in Spirit-filled prayer groups, and work together to do a giant outreach effort that has brought the good new of the Gospel to thousands in years past. I have found it to be a huge blessing for myself, and I really enjoy seeing other youth's spiritual lives get back on track. GYC is fully recognized and backed by the President of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Ted Wilson.

Here is a quick break-down of the cost.

Travel (Flight, other forms of transportation) - $400 GYC

Registration Fee(50% of Original cost as I will be attending from out of country) - $75

Housing (4 nights in local hotel) - $99

Food (Includes Breakfast and Lunch during conference) - $70

Food (All other food costs: Supper, meals outside of conference) - $50

Total - $694
