I cannot go into court all alone, I am disabled and just can't go through this massacre yet again. I need an Atty.
Married 20+ years, together total, about 30 years. Became disabled with Sarcoidosis of the lungs while married. I could not afford an attorney. "X" who is also a Certified Public Accountant at Alliant energy, could afford a good attorney.
The profound sadness and not being able to understand what was happening in the court room was overwhelming. I wouldn't wish that experience on anybody, not even "X" man. It was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. Memories of being so ill and so unearhly tired still haunt me.They slaughtered me. I remember asking myself "who is this person?" I just cried.
"X" man manipulated assets and told one lie after another Actually. It really was sad. Despite already being disabled, he and his attorney managed to get most of the marital equity and drag me through the mud in the process. He told me to "GET GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE" for my healthcare. In fact, I currently live off of Medicare, disability and maintenance ( which is based on lies he and his attorney concocted.) NOW HE IS TRYING TO TAKE THAT AWAY!
Moving on with my life, I forgave and still wished him love, happiness and peace. But in addition, I feel he should not be allowed to hurt me or anyone else for that matter. He still continues to hurt others even to this very day. Going behind his wife's back and calling me declaring his love. It didn't go there only because I would never allow it. I lived through that and would never do that to any woman or man.
Unfortunately, the disease that started in my lungs has now spread to my brains. I do metho (chemotherapy) every week. It has attacked the area of my brain that controls movement so sometimes I am not able to walk. The attacks pain and contortians range from 2 - 10+. I am in need of in-home care, so that I can have some kind of a personal life. There is no cure for Sarcoidosis. The chemotherapy leaves me wretching with severe nausea. Imagine having a layer of bricks covering your whole body.and trying to get up or to walk. Despite everything, I am a happy person and live my life as fully as I can, when i can. I don't hate him or anyone else. I just want fair treatment in court and not be subjected to abuse yet again. That's really all I am asking.
Don't let him do this to me again! Especially now! There is a top notch attorney that I want to represent me. Not sure how much the final cost will be, but her retainer fee is $5000 to even start my case. If you feel comfortable sending help directly to her as opposed to me that can be arranged too. I beg of you, please. I need you to send me your support right away. My court date is in November and the attorney will need time to prepare my case properly.
