Bob Cook’s Retirement Celebration — The Party Is the Gift! 🎉
We’re putting our contributions together to give Bob a retirement gift we can all enjoy with him — a great party and a great memory!!
The Revel Room is reserved, and the more we raise, the more we can add to the celebration:
- $1950 total - Supports the venue and decorations cost
- $2950 total - Helps provide hors d’oeuvres and nonalcoholic drinks
- $4450 total - Adds a champagne toast!!
- $4900 total - Provide bartenders for a cash bar
- $5300 total – Adds another hour of room rental!
Any donations beyond the cost of the party will go toward a bookstore gift card for Bob, likely to Davidson Bookstore, or another gift idea by the Gift Committee. (Bob favors a party over a gift, but we have a plan if we receive lots of donations!)
If you’re planning to contribute, earlier donations are especially helpful — they let us know what we can add while there’s still time to arrange catering and drinks.
The Revel Room holds a maximum of 125 guests, so please RSVP in advance, as we’re only able to accommodate guests who have responded. We kindly ask for no additional guests beyond those invited. RSVP to Jennifer.stafford@charlottenc.gov.
