I have been a low-energy guy as long as I can remember , I am always tired ,fatigue compare to others. This article is a glimpse of my life , my struggle as a person to individualize mentally , as a patient fighting this underly aliments that lurking around us without our notice.
You might have the same thing as I do , just not severe enough, however the name is the same——Dysbiosis
I want you to know every words I say is coming from the bottom of my soul , I am currently typing the sentences carry with severe brain fog ,fatigue and pain in the gut.
With desperate mood , I wrote all these for the hope to either be successful at this funding or to leave my treatment plan as a gift in this long article. So there will be one person to pass on the will and influence other.
I don’t dare to give my hope up ,but I wish in the future I can still be able to turn this tragedy around , make it into a success story so people can see that there’s still hope.
In the first part of the article I am going to spend sometime sharing knowledge of gut health so you can understand fully of the importance of gut biome.
On the second part : How many symptoms one might suffer from one dysfunction of gut biome. I am going to share my own experience suffering from dysbiosis .
On the third part: How you can treat it and finally my whole financial plan of how I am going to spend the donation in detail for my entire treatment .

Struggle through pain in search of my salvation which become my own purpose in life.
It takes me five years to find the solid solution , despite having extreme level of fatigue, brain fog ,depression, compromised digestive function.
We all bear our own unique suffering, I believe it is until we experience the most extreme incident in life can we see the true nature of a person.
As what Nietzsche said “what does not kill me makes me stronger.”
I really want my suffering to be meaningful which can be a force to change others life not end up committing suicide, that’s the reason why I started this funding in the first place.
I am a 27 years old male without the ability to function normally physically ,the chronic fatigue is so severe that I sometimes lay on my bed for 23 hours in the bed, 1 hour for eating throughout a day.
I can only eat meat currently because of compromised gut biome.
I got no more ways to support myself financially, my family isn’t rich enough to support my plan for the entire treatment plan which I am in a state of I can’t do anything to make the situation better.
Because of it , I came up with the idea to kill myself to get compensation from my life insurance, which I check the insurance law at Taiwan that after two years of purchasing life insurance they would compensate no matter how you decease.
Which happens to be the same amount of money that I borrowed from my father.
Severe dysbiosis lead me to extreme level of depressed feeling , unmotivated , compromised brain function to process anything on my mind and countless digestive issues . I feel extremely depressed , but I know it’s caused by dysbiosis.
Dysbiosis can make you mentally sick with depression and anxiety .
It’s not the only cause ,but it’s really hard to get the information.
My best friend who’s willing to work his ass off literally for 16~18 hours a day ,talk me out of suicide , asking me to wait for him to save up for my treatment ,despite he has his own financial difficulties in his own family as well.
My symptoms worsen as years go on , however I am just unwilling to die without a fight. I’ve been fighting for five years ever since I finally noticed something wrong with my health instead of my mental , in reality I suffer from it ever since I was born.
Honestly , despite the support of my friend mentally , I still need to experience the pain from my mind and body all the time.
About a month ago , when I share my symptoms to my conventional doctor of FMT(Faecal microbiota transplant) , I got laughed off. Who still believed that IBS (Irritable bowel syndrome ) can’t be cured entirely. Truth is my aliment is not well-recognized in Taiwan, it made me feel that why do I have to fight so hard to prove the existence of my aliments to a doctor who lacks of the understanding of microbiome in a full picture ?
It fuels a fire in me to prove him wrong. That doctor just say it causally, told me I should go abroad for treatment despite the fact that he’s the one who mocked at the idea of it without listening my symptoms.
Worst part is that despite the countless symptoms which I written below , the only thing he can recognized clinically is IBS. I can never forget that. The second thing drives me to live is that I still have promise I made with my best friend yet to fulfill. To make movies and change the whole health perspective in Taiwan through education and solid steps. We discussed many things of how our dream can be realized.
However, I don’t know how many years I have to wait to have the money to cure myself , and my family just assume my symptoms are “tolerable” so they are not that supportive.
My friend is a talented individual , I believe he can be successful in the future for whatever he sets his mind to , I hate the fact that I seem to drag him down and I am powerless to do anything at all.

Lots of hormone is produced in gut which is vital for normal brain and physical function. 90% of the serotonin ,50% of dopamine is produced by gut biome. So as the hormones that help us improve the sleeping quality like melatonin and GABA.
Gut biome also help to digest food, also play a big role in immunity. Hormones and absorption of nutrient, vitamins in foods are sent via gut-brain axis. That’s the reason why if we eat junk food will cause inflammation in our entire body and brain which makes diet important.
Eating something bad , making you diarrhea for a week. That’s a minor case of dysbiosis. It would get back to normal in no time.
However , if you have severe dysbiosis, which means you have an extreme compromised function of digesting food ,making hormone. It would be rare to heal by itself. Without the understanding of the mechanism of gut ,let alone fix it , Suffer would continues for years, worsen as years go on.
What is dysbiosis exactly ? subclinical
Now you know gut biome is in charged for so many things.People might overlook the influence on hormone. Without balanced hormones you might feel uneasy anxious all the time or too depressed to move. Evolving symptoms and things I been through.
The condition behind my birth
- Our microbiota is inherited largely from our moms.
- My mom had irritable bowl syndrome (IBS) since she was young.
- My mom had a miscarriage 6 months prior to having me.
- At the last 49 days to my birth , my mom had to inject lots of drugs preventing her from miscarriage again she was instructed by doctor to stay on the bed as much as possible.
- I was born prematurely within 8 months with cleft mouth.
There are cases like the boxing champion Tyson Furry was born prematurely. So we can’t say for sure , who have dysbiosis.
A lot of cases that they might be a weak child in the beginning , grow to be stronger as they turn into adulthood. So in the case of gut microbiome, it’s all random. We have to view each case individually.
The story has nothing to do with my facial disadvantage , but above condition certainly provide a perfect environment for cultivating my dysbiosis.
My experience and s ymptoms which I had since I was a kid (age 0~14)

- Tinnitus : A high-pitched voice in my ears that would worsen at night or when I felt dizzy.
- Acid reflex : Some bitter liquid would came out from my stomach to my mouth after I consume soup, candies , milk etc. Acid reflex is caused by low stomach acid and intolerance to food.
- Easier fatigue/unmotivated
- Anxiety most of the time
- Anxious at night ,trouble sleeping from time to time
- Sense of withdraw / brain fog: It happens out of blue all the time , it feels like dreaming. Especially if there’s a strong artificial light to my eyes.
- Sudden blurring while reading/hard to focus
- Tickling sensation on the feet whenever I had a bowel movement
- Experience pain in the gut when bowel movement occur sometimes
- Irritable bowel syndrome from time to time
- Suicidal thoughts or thoughts about life and dead at the age of 8 :
My inference for it is that 90% of the serotonin ,50% of dopamine is produced by gut biome. Without the happy hormones , I constantly experience anxious feeling all the time.
A normal kid should feel happy most of the time running around playing instead of thinking about life and death.
I got bullied when I was 12 : It made me become a more sensitive person that understand people better in a sense of what motivates and what made a person the way they are in general. With my anxiety , the insecurity of being bullied, it shapes my interpretation to the world.
In order to feel secure , I have to understand all of it .
And my inclination of it shows clearly when you read the article.
Every symptoms I mentioned above either it would worsen or still exist as I grow up.
My level of well-being and health start to deteriorate slowly, high school year (age 15~18)

- Reaction time and focus drop: I experienced a huge drop of my focus and reaction when I do my best playing couter-strike , no matter how hard I tried , my reaction never went back how it used to be.
- IBS diarrhea more frequently
- Personality changes :Until my second years of high school (16) , I used to be a humorous person to make my classmate laugh.I didn’t do it to pretend I was happy. I enjoy making jokes , one day my mood dropped to sadness or depressed all the time. At that time , I read a lot of self-help books and positive psychology to encourage myself or force myself to be energetic to maintain my social life.
I used to love rock and rap music that my taste slowly change to classical music , I became very sentimental from time to time.
Chronic Fatigue starts to show , until I become a dropout with clinically diagnosed Major depression(age 18~21)

-Chronic Fatigue/hard to get up in the morning
-Feel tired and wire
-Focus level drop I have to sleep for 10 mins for a 15 mins of read.
-Increased level of anxiety and brain fog
-Sudden wake at night because of unknown reason of cramping gut with pain.
-Clinically diagnosed with Major depression : I tried anti-depressant and work with clinical psychologist without any improvement.
What I want to point out is that , I am extremely bad at feeling my own symptoms or to describe how I feel in general physically or mentally.
I felt like I was a 6 years old at that time in terms of the level of describing how I feel. My parents did not teach me how to deal problems in life and they didn’t spend time educating lessons of life outside academical norm.
So even when I was little with all these symptoms. My mom would assume me as a normal kid as she has IBS and tinnitus as well. So she didn’t take it seriously, so as myself as I believed whatever my mom said would be right as a kid .
I end up assuming everyone is just like me , if I work hard enough ,exercise enough I will be better.
It was because of my dysbiosis and trip to Australia , with a lot of things I’ve been through I finally shape my own personality , so as be better at articulating with brain fog . I really give it all to train my speech and how to feel .
Because of it , I finally realize all these symptoms are not normal and not everyone would experience it.
Traditional Asia education and my low self-esteem contribute a lot to my incompetence to feel and describe. It took me years with lots of pain to be able to say what I want and how I feel.
Down to the rabbit hole of solving my aliments , mistakes and suffering (22~25 years old)

Biohacking is using science, technology, and self-experimentation to maximize health and quality of life. It involves activities like nutrition, supplementation ,exercise, and tracking health metrics.
My best friend introduced me the concept of biohacking and bulletproof diet at the very begging at that time.
Upon finishing reading <Bulletproof Diet> by Dave Asprey ,I tried it directly without knowing how little I know. I made a lot of foolish mistakes, which mentioned in the book, worsening my condition.
It’s recommend to take 6~15 grams of salt depends on how you feel, I ended up eating 2 grams a day. Exercising everyday ,without re-feeding carbohydrate with lots of calories coming from fat, I ended up doing ketogenic diet .
The two main mistakes I made above put huge stress to my gut biome.
<Bulletproof Diet> is paleo diet(not ketogenic diet)+bulletproof coffee+fasting+supplementation+ideas of biohacking to optimize your health. That for general people it’s a good guide book for an overall understanding of everything you need to know about health.
After that my fatigue level , depress feeling , brain fog increased drastically , I would have IBS-diarrhea upon finishing meal.
My memory can only lasted for three seconds because I can’t recall google maps I viewed three seconds ago.
Had I not made the mistakes above would I free from suffering now?
The answer is no , despite it might accelerate the development of dysbiosis , but with all these symptoms I mentioned above in childhood , it’s clear that I would have suffered the same result around 30 to 35 as well ,in which it would become harder to heal as I age.
I have no way to escape my fate to suffer .
As you know now that dysbiosis is a very complex aliments to figure out let alone how to actually cure it . So my friend suggested me at that time to go on a working holiday Visa with him to Australia. One of our main goals is to treat my dysbiosis.
The idea of making movies and introduce health knowledge to Taiwan were formed gradually at the time.

I couldn’t exactly share how severe my brain fog is to you with words ,but the foggy feelings and sense of withdrawal that really made me feel I wasn’t present at that moment most of the time.
The extreme Anxious feeling made me hard to feel what’s in front of me mentally and physically.
I happen to be the guy lack of ability to describe how I feel as I mentioned earlier . It was until a year ago until we found out that I am the most extreme case of dysbiosis so I have to treat it with most complete way.
Normal people even with chronic fatigue might heal directly from probiotic and prebiotic ,but I can’t. I have to take the most careful steps toward healing my gut.
It is this lack of understanding , we wasted a lot of time and money to treat myself , I even borrowed $400000 TWD($ 13,117 USD) from my father to support my live and for supplementation for my entire trip .

We went to Australia 3 years ago , about a year ago I tried , <Healthy Gut, Healthy You by Dr. Michael Ruscio> The Great-In-8 protocol . But we were running out of fund , so I only feel better for some times. As herbal antibiotics are needed throughout the whole process. And it caused quite a lot of money.
It would be absurd a mount of money to go to U.S to be treated directly .

Basically there are two types of plan if you are the one who isn’t that severe you might recover by simply Paleo diet+Probiotic+Reintroduced sometimes feeding prebiotic is not necessary for this case. Probiotic alone would be a huge boosts for you in which you can tolerate high FODMAP food Which means by doing Step 1+2 for a while , have no problem tolerate High-FODMAP food on step 5 you can get back to normal health.
The second type of recovery plan is for people like me who can’t skip any steps , needs to be cautious on each step.

Step 1 Reset
This Step is for you to learn how to do Paleo+Low FODMAP diet and preparation phase for the coming steps . There is Elemental diet design for people who can’t tolerate solid food. People have ulcers in stomach or esophagus , normally developed in those who took years of antiacid drugs for many years.
Step 2 Support
Many brand of probiotics are design for general public , not dysbiosis-friendly , if you ever experienced bad reaction on taking probiotic , chances are that you have dysbiosis and can’t take the prebiotic inside.
That’s the main reason why a lot of people trying to get better from their digestive or gut-related symptoms end up making worst.
Keep in mind that if you are as severe as me , only Saccharomyces Boulardii Probiotic from Dr,Ruscio and Bulletproof EXPRESS 3-IN-1 PROBIOTIC is ok to use at the beginning for the people like me . Because there is inulin in other probiotic of Dr.Ruscio.

Please, keep in mind that these are only estimated amount. Could be either more or less , however, there will be chances that I can either work in the middle of treatment process or I can be the one who’s mentioning in books , needed to do this for two years to heal. The unfulfilled promises
What I want to tell people about in this paragraph is that no matter how much fund I raised in the end . These are the things I would keep doing until the day I die. For me that find things worth dying for is the same as living for. That’s what really pain me is with the powerless and the limitation from my aliment , I wasn’t a free mind to do whatever I want to do. Worst, I might even make our whole plan compromised that’s what pain me the most.
Issues at Taiwan
Taiwan’s policy is protective toward local business , not so open to foreign corporation. Things like Uber Taxi, Iherb, foreign goods are not welcome. Every import goods , you have to pay 35% custom duty tax .
There are few choices of our supplement and organic products despite using low-quality industrial additives. Low amount of vitamins and nutrient with high price is pretty common. Sugar and industrial additives would cause inflammation harm our body . Every food company doing their best to lower the cost to bring maximum profit , sacrificing health of general public.
Iherb is limited to 65.6 USD per order with 35% custom duty tax if exceed. Some higher-end supplement exceed with only one bottle of purchased.
There was a big corporation selling highly-refined vegetable oil selling many years, being exposed by media that was adding carcinogenic chemical in it . At first people were rage toward the company , aiming to shut it down by not purchasing the product and related products.
After a month they had a huge discount of the products and people forgetting it.
What we see is people are lacking community mind-set. However, people are not stupid , to really change things we have to use another way.
What general public know about health in Taiwan
Gut biome , diet , supplements , biohack ,these are the thing what’s lacking in the medical field . Most of the dietitian, trainers ,body-builder , athletes, still believe in the concept of “Calories in and Calories out “ which is not true at all.
Even if people who noticed , changing diet that they just go for ketogenic diet which eating high fat (80%) for a long period of time without carb-refeeding would lead to hormonal imbalance causing by increasing level of cortisol ,thus end up having dysbiosis.
It’s a common mistakes for people who do ketogenic diet, which I made the same mistakes before as I mention.
Worst part is the reason why those keto-influencer in Taiwan not having the issue is that they actually eat a lot of carbs without noticing. Because there are many hidden sugar in every process food.
And the concept of why organic whole food is better than processed food is not well-established , people only get a sense of it ,but not the whole reason behind. Dietitians always give vague suggestion about processed food just don’t over do it . Grass-fed butter is not health and oat meal is heart healthy food is what most of dietitians believe.
Doctors as I mentioned earlier , treat symptoms with drugs instead of viewing your body as a whole , lacking understanding of gut biome.
Ibs is an incurable disease , you should take drugs for life. That’s what they told me.
There are five main goals for me and my best friend to achieve:
1.Bring the right supplementation and product to market.
Supplements selling in Taiwan is low-quality with extreme high price.
By teaching people how to use Iherb and choose the right products we can start to crack down the system. Big corps and doctors would definitely against the idea. There’s no big profit doing only if people are willing to use our Iherb promo code. I don’t think we should make our own brand of supplement if there have already been a high-quality products in the foreign market. What we should do is to do our best to bring the cost down ,shipping to Taiwan.
2.Introduce functional medicine and diet to Taiwan.
Simply put is to introduce paleo, bulletproof diet and to help people with any aliments or want to be healthier.
Food is our medicine, chronic disease especially are food-related disease. Perhaps to introduce well-trained functional medicine clinic to Taiwan.
So that I can punch my doctor in the face metaphorical by showing people how to treat IBS through diet and functional medicine.
3.Import every products from B-corp company
B-corp cooperation which is aiming more to their cause and aim for doing good to people through their products than profit. Products is just a mean to bring people with the same mindset. If this turn out to be successful we can process on bringing out local farm , make products with their crop. Finally, we can open an actual organic store with many optional products for people to choose from , like in US and Australia.
Bruce Lee once said “Institution brings corruption.” in his book "Tao of Jeet Kune Do.”
That’s why if we ever going to do things , we are not going to introduce share holder at all.Our aim is to bring everything on the table with open account so people can see our cost and profit that we are truly concerning people’s health and we only sell things that we use daily as well. And if we can make people understand that we are not here for money ,but someone with purpose.
Knowledgeable information don’t entertain people, not everyone loves reading books and being a nerd knowing all the stuff.
If we just open a YouTube channel with knowledgeable, educational videos and open an organic store directly.This would be a straight failure. So it’s important to become famous , prior to do anything.
4.Go to UFC , to fight Alexander Volkanovski.
When we went to Australia , my friend is training Jeet Kune Do under one of the student of Bruce Lee near Melbourne. My friend always say that in any kinds of sports oftentimes we see gold Medalist or boxing champions are all well-trained in very early stage of their life.
Only mixed martial arts’ champion can start later in life and still get a good result. And Bruce Lee was an advanced biohacker in his time that he has done things similar to bulletproof diet eating grass-fed meat ,supplementation , fasting , carb-refeed.
We all understand how hard for people to make it into sports league like UFC or NBA, maybe only 1% of the people. However, he wants to show what he can do through discipline, hard-wrok and biohack to maximizing health and training result at the same time.
There isn’t any local Taiwanese ever make it into UFC, If there’s a figure show up with achievement and articulative speech , people can understand the differences.
As for now, my aliment clearly drag the whole process down.
That’s why I hate my powerlessness.
5.To make movies
My family is over-protected toward me because of being a cleft mouth.
In short , my mom would do everything for me that I seldom need to think. I paid a high price being a incompetence kid.My aliment worsen my incompetence with no motivation and desire.Because of dysbiosis , if I am going to do something , I have to set my mind into or do or die state. I have to put my back against the wall to feel something.
Because of my incompetence and vulnerability in order to become competence with actual ability and mindset of a grown-up , I have to throw all my feelings away and to do everything I’ve never done before with my aliment, alongside with my anxiety ,brain fog and depression etc.
I am a vulnerable and a cowardly person, but I hate that so much I am willing to let that part of me die to forge a new personality. Aliment just make my life a lot tougher.
Bruce Lee once said :"Do not pray for an easy life, pray for the strength to endure a difficult one."
Our quality of gut deteriorate as we age.It’s obvious take longer time for me to heal later in life . This aliment has already drained my mental strength to endure ,sometimes I wish I can just close my eyes and die.
I understand it goes against everything I indoctrinated by movies, philosophy, times with my friend. At this stage ,my emotion was chaos with severe bloated , I feel extreme anxious and depressed especially when I am bloated. I know it’s a trick for my physical condition ,not from my mind. However, the constant pull between battle between life or die have wore me out.And here I am , doing my best to survive, perhaps a meaningless failure that no one would know.
My friend and I love watching good movies , we often talk about the development of the character and choices they face. What concept does the director want to portray in the movie and what experience or book they read to form the ideas.
I wish when my story is being adopted , I can stand alongside with my friend. I wish not be in the situation of showing texts on the screen saying “in the memory of my friend”.
I pray for the strength to endure the pain of my life.
And I really want to make it , just my body won’t allow me to.

My overall financial plan
Frankly, I start this funding in a heavy heart because I don’t feel people would read this far as my article is pretty lengthy.
I am going to post this post on every website I can think of in order to increase my success rate.
I don’t really care about how much money I raise ,passing on the idea is more important. I just want to stay true to myself do my best to do whatever I can to fight my aliments. Even this end in tragic I want to embrace it instead of running away.
11,063 USD would be a roughly estimation for curing myself in a year.
If I happen to be the worst case in dysbiosis patient so to speak, which takes two years to cure it. It would be doubled the amount which is 22,126 for two years.
If I were lucky enough to have a minimum physical strength to work I would work to either keep providing myself for my treatment plan or to help my friend alleviating his financial issues to help him accelerating process of fighting MMA.
Every single penny I would post on future updates. And I want everyone who donates to me know that I will put it into good use.
The point is that whatever amount I funded in the end , what I am going to do is the same: The main priority of the expenses will be using to cure myself. The rest would be using for everything else I mentioned above related to what we want to achieve.

I probably going to share what I eat and symptoms I have for now.
