"A paradigm shift in the education of the children here"
My name is Nasiba and I am an english teacher in Besharik, a small town on the countryside of Uzbekistan which is in central Asia. To support my students in their education I want to start an English library at my school. The library will enable my students to achieve their dreams, such as studying abroad. Having the valuble resouce of a library in a developing country like Uzbekistan would mean a paradigm shift in the education of the children of the Besharik region.
Details
I've already found a room for the library, but it desperately needs needs refurbishing, such as repairs on the floor, ceiling, walls, windows, doors, and lights. This will cost around $ 2000. I also need to buy shelves, chairs and tables, an air conditioner, one computer, and ... books! English books are quite expensive to buy here, so much of the budget will be spend on that. In total, we are aiming for a budget of $ 6000.

The Impact
With your contribution, you will create great opportunities for all future generations of this village. You would help create an invalubale resource for the children to match their strive to learning the English language. I have already collected 60 books from all around the world and lend them to my students. They love them! But that small amount of books quickly became insuficcient and I am only able to lend them out to my class — not everybody in town. A library would enable just that and give everybody a free opportunity to achieve their goals by learning English.
