In March 2016, just before her 3rd birthday. Islas family received the most devistating news, their beautiful baby girl was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia With fundraising from across the globe, her family were able to pay for her treatment and confirmation of remission came just before Christmas.

Sadly only 2 weeks later tests showed that the Leukemia had returned. Isla went back into hospital, Isla has received the first of what could be another long string of painful Chemotherapy treatments. Doctors are hopeful that with the first round completed & having found the Leukemia early, that Stem Cell Treatment could rid Isla of this dreadful disease once and for all. 

The Donaldson's need your help, last years financial support has long gone & the family have now been informed by the specialists that they must stay close to the hospital for at least a year, even if the treatment is successful. Needless to say that leaves mum & dad possibly facing unemployment and the sale of the family home is now almost certain.

Isla is without a doubt one of the most amazing little warriors we have ever seen, enduring the pain of last year & knowing what is to come, she is still fighting with a smile.
