Hi everyone,
My name is Jennifer Peterson and I am a producer, writer and animal activist based out of Los Angeles, CA. Five years ago I, along with many other passionate dog lovers, started campaigning against a chain of horrible pet stores in Los Angeles called BARKWORKS PET STORES. Barkworks sells commercially bred dogs, meaning they get their puppies from horrifying puppy mills.
They have an F Rating by the Better Business Bureau, have been protested by almost every animal welfare group out there, were even investigated by KTLA News (see the investigation on YouTube) and yet sadly they are still in business.
But I have some good news too - in the five years we have been protesting their stores, three of their seven stores have been shut down! So activists are making GREAT progress and we can't slow down now.
Protests cost money! We need to make posters for at least 30 people each time, and get fliers made! We have several protests planned this holiday season so hoping you will support us with a small donation. The small donations do add up!
If you believe puppy mills are wrong and that these type of stores need to ALL be shut down, please help us out!
