In the early morning hours of November 5, 2017 - after a harrowing 7325 kilometer journey From Toronto, Canada, much of it on foot and bicycle  - Commander X (www.CommanderX.info) crossed the Mexican border to apply for political asylum from the USA. Within hours he was recovered from the Mexican dessert by Anons and spirited to a hotel in Juarez, Mexico - where he immediately released this statement to the world.

X did not make this harrowing journey into exile alone, he did this as a part of Anonymous Operation Golden Eagle. (www.OperationGoldenEagle.cf). While the world believed that the goals of this historic Op had been accomplished with Commander X's dramatic crossing into Mexico on foot, the Operation was far from over. Unbeknownst to all but a few select insiders, Operation Golden Eagle was about to rescue another American dissident and bring them to safety in Mexico.

Commander X's sister, Amy-Beth Doyon - had been harassed, stalked, gas-lighted and even raided by the FBI for years after he publicly entered initial exile in Canada. There was even an attempt on her life, which left her with grievous and permanent disabilities. All this for no other reason other than her familial relationship to Commander X. On November 5th, while X was cutting a hole in the Mexican border fence - two FBI sedans were parked across the street from Amy-Beth's house awaiting a possible rescue attempt. But the operatives of Operation Golden Eagle knew this would be the case in advance, and so Commander X waited patiently. On Christmas eve (2017) during the height of the holiday travel rush, and long after the intrepid FBI spooks had left - Amy-Beth Doyon was quietly spirited from her home in Maine and was flown to Mexico City. She was not told her final destination, or if it was even in Mexico. She had faith in Anonymous, and did not flinch from the opportunity to be free and the possibility of being re-united with her brother Commander X - whom she had not seen or spoken to in a decade due to his persecution and flight from the USA. Despite her considerable disabilities, and her need to be always with her Medical Service dog "Destiny" - she had the courage to leap into the unknown. Approximately 6 hours after landing in Mexico City, and with the assistance of Mexican activists - she was finally reunited with X in an undisclosed city in central Mexico.

Commander X and his sister were immediately transported to a safe-house and spent their first Christmas together in a decade. It was on Christmas day that the idea came to them. Beginning as a discussion about how lucky they were, and how many Anons and information activists in harms way who were left behind - these two heroic political dissidents decided to dedicate the rest of their lives to creating a way to concretely help those hacktivists brave enough to follow them into exile. Thus, the "Haven Project" was born.

Since that time, Commander X and Amy-Beth have gone through several safe-houses searching for just the right city and property with which to begin their ambitious project. At long last it appears they have found a compound in central Mexico that is ideal. They call this space simply "Haven".

While the Haven Compound is secure and affordable, it needs thousands of dollars worth of work to make it a livable space. In addition, Amy-Beth's severe disabilities and her loss of medical insurance because she fled the USA are extremely costly. Finally, there is the legal cost of pressing forward their refugee and asylum cases with the Mexican government.

And these are just the short term necessities. Long term, they would like to add solar panels to generate free electricity and hot water, and a recycling station (there is no garbage collection in most of Mexico, you're on your own for waste disposal). Finally, they would like very much to pull a camper trailer into the large commercial garage space that is part of the compound to increase the living space should any dissidents join them - as is the purpose of Haven.
