Have you ever wondered what it was like to be an immigrant? Leaving your hometown and being forced to find a new way of life?

Please join me in raising funds to support families affected by immigration, displacement and in need of refuge.  Over the past year as part of my Bat Mitzvah, I have interviewed several immigrants on their experiences and later wrote a poem based on each of their stories. “Finding Light” is a book that compiles these poems all based on true stories of immigration.

In honor of all the incredible people that I have interviewed, all the proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated to HIAS. HIAS is a Jewish organization with the mission of providing services to refugees around the world, including an active involvement in supporting humanitarian efforts in Ukraine.
