hi! my name is tonya. my son, brandon was 14 in september 2010 when he was arrested and accused of aggravated sodomy, aggravated child molestation and child molestation of a 6 yr old girl. my son was arrested at school aand Taken To Jasper County Sheriff's Department and questioned without a parent or legal counsel. at the time of his arrest he was incompetent to stand trial on a previous juvenile charge. he was functioning mentally at the age of a 6-9 yr old child. he was also diagnosed cyclothemia, bipolar, adhd And Odd. brandon was accused by this child's mother because she was in fact the one molesting my son. after he refused to let her abuse him any longer she accused my son of sexually abusing her then 6 old daughter. it was later discovered that the girl's brothers were the ones abusing her. cps removed the girl and a set of twins from the mother. (we believe the twins can potentially be my son's)  on august 27,2010 the mother filed a police report against my son. she accused him of abusing her daughter on july 23,2010 a month earlier in which my son was in another part of the county on july 23-25. on july 26 i took my son to a local hospital because he had a bad blistery oozing rash. it was later determined after testing that he had staphylococous aureus. If Would have Abused The Girl She Would Have Caught The Staph. 3 of my other kids contracted it from him. the thursday before his court date on may 21,2014 the main circuit public defender called to speak with me about my sons case. he told me my son had a good chance at beating the case if he took it to trial. the next day the regular public defender called me and told me that my son did not have a chance in hell at beating the case that my son HAD to take the plea deal. The Whole 4 years Of Me Trying To Fight For My Son, the Public Ddfender Did Nothing To Help My Son. It Took 4 years To Get A Sit Down Meeting With His public Defender, the circuit public Defender, my husband, a Friend myself And An Advocate. I Tried To Give The Public Defender Statements That He Had Never Seen From Other Witnesses And He Took Them Without Even Looking And Threw Them Across The Table At Me And Said "i Have Already Seen These". With Me KNOWING he Had Never Seen Them. The Circuit Public Defender Took The Statements And By The time He Got finished Reading Them His jaw Was To The Floor. This Is Simply A Case Of Injustice, a Case That My Son Was Abused By Our Judicial System. Brandon Was Bullied Into Pleading Guilty For A Crime He Still Maintains he Did not Commit. Brandon Was 17 when He Was sentenced to 20 yrs With 5 to Serve. This September 14, 2015 he Will Be Released From Prison And Still Be On 15 yrs Probation. Brandon And I Still Plan To Continue This Fight To Prove He is innocent. If You Can Help Please Do.
