Help distributing relief and rebuilding the community that is destroyed by the massive fire.

An inferno engulfed a Dalit settlement at Kanchanrup Muncipality-6 in Saptari district on Thursday, March 27, killing an elderly person and destroying 79 houses belonging to 33 families. Twenty-eight other huts were demolished to stop the fire from spreading further. 60 years old Chalitar Sardar was burnt to death. The fire broke out in the house belonging to Jhameli sardar around the noon. Flames fulled by the wind burnt down the settlement in no time.

The victims affected by the fire are poor people of scheduled tribe. The victims are staying under the open sky still. The estimated loss is worth approximately Rs. 10 million. We request all of them who can help us distributing food, cloth, medicine for the victims for which they are in ASAP need.
