Be a part of the mission, here at KARES rescue and sanctuary, this is the year of the horse! K.A.R.E.S rescue and sanctuary Inc. is a Florida nonprofit corporation and we are trying to raise money to help with the rehabilitation of 4 recent arrivals here, all 4 needs their teeth done and UTD on vaccinations. They have all been vetted and are finally out of the woods and are on their way to a complete recovery from their pasts, but still need some final touches to complete their rehabilitation; which is vaccinations and teeth floated. All 4 are senior's and are off the track thoroughbreds and require lots of grains and hay as well to keep them of a healthy weight. We go through over 100 Lbs. of grains a day, and 5 bales of hay a day or 2 round bales a week depending on which we are using at the time, just to keep up with the needs of just the 8 horses here at KARES. So we are always in need of help with grains and hay. We also have many small animals here; currently we have 3 pigs, 2 goats, 2 dogs, and 3 cats, who also calls KARES home. We are in great need of help to fix some of the fences around the pastures, and outbuildings. If anyone is in a position to help us continue our mission please donate, and please feel free to add us to your facebook to see the wonderful work we do here at KARES. We can’t do this alone we need your support. Thank you all!
