My mom passed away from uterine cancer in 2001.

She had always helped me do things for my shower cap business when I first started back in 1989.

Ironically, back when she was healthy, she had insisted that I do a cap for the ladies going through chemo treatment.

I did manufacture cute headwear after all.

She was very creative but logical too.

She just wanted to do something nice for women in need.

So after all this time I finally come up with an way to fullfill her wish and have fun at the same time.

Not long ago,I lived on Sunset Blvd where on a regular basis packs of noisy motorcycles would zoom by and it sounded like a warzone shaking the walls.

I gave me an idea that I should do a bandana to help bring out a girls bad side... Kinda like those "Friday afternoon" motorcycle bad boys.

Since most of the headwear for chemo patients look really depressing to me it was hard for me to be inspired.

I mean if you feel really terrible why would you want to wear some hat that makes you look terrible?

And everyone looks cute in a bandana right?

So the image I have to inspire ladies with cancer with my bandana is this...

Put on your Bad Girl Bandana and tell cancer to get lost," I have other bad girl things to do!" (Expletive of your choice inserted here)

Hand Gestures are optional.

So the image I have is of a lady busting out of the hospital in her hospital gown flapping in the wind and jumping  on the back of a motorcycle with some hot guy. Riding off into the sunset looking back with her middle finger up, telling it to cancer! Of course wearing her bad girl bandana.

As a long suffering good girl,I was inspired help women channel their inner bad girl.(cause I need it too) Because as women we are so helpful and compliant about most things. Even being polite to a dreaded disease.

My mom was like that always nice, even to jerks.

So my fundraiser is to fund the purchase of bandanas sewing shipping fullfillment.

You may purchase bandanas for your own use for a friend or just donate to keep the sewing room humming.

Each donation is for two pieces. One for you one for the ladies in the hospital.

We will pull one for you from the assortment and ship it to you unless you chose a color.

Or if you just want to make a donation both pieces will go to the ladies at the hospital.

I will then personally hand deliver 24 plus pieces to the oncology ward for the ladies to enjoy.
