Scully is a 3 year old mini Pit Bull girl who came into the rescue Pender Perfect Pets about 4 months ago. Scully was found so starved that she was only 23 pounds. We didnt even know if she was going to make it the first week that she stayed at the vet clinic. Scully thankfull pulled through and now is at a healthy 40 pounds. Scully was so starved that it caused her body to be deformed and caused her legs to never grow properly therefor they turn out like duck feet.
Scully was so mistreated and so abused that we have found she has a big problem with insecurity. She is so insucure of herself that it causes her to show massive amounts of fear aggression twords other animals. She is the explosive aggressive type with other animals meaning i can not responsibly place her without proper training.
Most people would say she should be put to sleep,that she is a danger and shouldnt be trusted in any home. What makes this so difficult is Scully has never shown any aggression twords people ever....as a matter of fact she loves people an for this it is hard for me to just say put her to sleep...especially when what a person did to her in her past has caused her to have these issues with aggression twords other animals.
I am desperatly seeking funds to send Scully to a proffesional trainer who deals with aggessive dogs so that she can get the help she needs and can be responsibly placed into a loving home. Without this training i have no idea what Scullys future would be. After all she has been through i feel she deserves this chance.
This training camp charges 20 a day that includes food /training and boarding accomidations. She will be worked with daily. Scully desperatly needs this. I am pleading,begging and preying that i can raise enough money to send her there for a few weeks. Scully also was unfortunetly shown to be heart positive and once training is completly it is urgent that she gets the hw treatment she needs. Right now i am doing the slow kill method of hw treatment while i try to get her behavior under control. Please consider making a 20 dollars donation,.This will pay for one day of training for her but could very well be what saves her life. I thank you so much for your support and for your faith in Scully....she is a good dog...she was just dealt a bad hand and this could help her so much and change her life and how she veiws other animals.
