Please help us get back to CA for my healths sake!
My family & I are in desperate need of a vehicle so that we can get back to California where I can be in less pain and have a better quality of life.
I usually fund raise for other things & if this seems selfish, I don't mean it to. However, on top of living with cancer as a chronic illness I was recently diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Scleroses. The big problem is that being in NW PA it is constantly damp or humid and my body writhes in pain because of it. When I was living in Joshua Tree & Yucca Valley CA I had minimal distress and was able to walk, instead of being confined to a wheelchair. I directed Plays at the community Theater in Yucca Valley. Not only did I direct & co-direct, I worked backstage as property master as well as aiding in costume design, hair & Make-up,
I was able to take my son places as I had a car and we would go all over the place just for fun. Nothing like a Sunday drive to learn about the area you are living in. We made countless trips up into Joshua Tree National Monument. Usually to take pictures of the area, as it is beautiful there but also collecting pretty stones found near where the rock climbers and others had knocked chunks of rock out of the larger Lego looking Rock formations.
Please help me find a better quality of life so that i can do things with my husband, son & grandson. I dislike having our family in this position. I figured that if anyone would understand my & my families needs my Friends & family here on Facebook would.
I know I will not have another miracle happen, I am so very grateful to God for the two that I was given. First my son (I was supposed to be barren, and Toni was born dead). The Doctors resuscitated him and he his now almost 23 with a beautiful son of his own, our grandson. I have accepted the hand I have been dealt in life and am happy to say that I love working with both Imerman Angels as a Mentor Angel as well as representing Team LIVESTRONG by having an army
of Survivors and people effected by cancer, called Erie County Cancer Killers.
