Mike had been taking care of his mother, Jeri, who has been battling cancer for a long time. She was given 6 months to live 6 months ago and we do not know how much time Mike and Jeri have left together. Now, she is trying to take care of him the best she can. She does not work due to her medical diagnosis and they are in desperate need of money.
Mike was discharged from the hospital on Jan. 2, 2013. He is temporarily living at his dad’s house waiting for the house he lives in with his mother to be renovated to make it handicap accessible. They really need to have a wheelchair ramp built so Mike can get home to be with his mother. They are also in desperate need of money to buy a wheelchair accessible van to help Mike get to doctors for the many physical therapy appointments, plus money to buy the supplies to make his bedroom and bathroom handicap accessible.
I am asking for anyone’s generosity to help donate to Mike and Jeri. Our goal is $20,000 to meet the minimum needs to help Mike be self-sufficient.
Thank you for your support. Any donation big or small will be greatly appreciated. Please keep Mike and Jeri in your prayers.
