You may have heard of Adley Abdulwahab or Adley Wahab and you may not have. I'm going to start by telling you a little bit about Adley Abdulwahab. First of all, Adley Abdulwahab is my brother and he's a father of three beautiful children, a husband, a son, an uncle, a friend and much loved by all. In 2006 or 2007 Adley was employed by an investment company whose practice was to defraud investors and now he is facing many counts of securities and mail fraud amongst other allegations that should be levied against all the men who originally started this business. The partners' business plan was to find a final partner oblivious to investment fraud and mold him into the perfect fall guy in the event their fraud was to ever become known. In September 2010 Adley was arrested as the head of the investment company and has been in Federal Prison since that time awaiting trial. None of the other business partners were arrested as they took plea bargains in turn for false testimony against Adley.The former business partners and others facing the same charges banned together to frame Adley for their fraudulent actions by accusing him of being the ring leader for a company that was started before he was employed and later became a partner. Adley did not start the company nor was he responsible for any of the decisions made in the investment fraud. The trial was held from June 6th to June 11th finding Adley guilty of all charges. He admitted to his wrongdoing while denying charges of which he is innocent. To make a long story short, my brother may have done wrong and maybe he should do some time but the time my brother is facing is not in any way shape or form fair. Why should he have to spend what could be the rest of his life in Prison, while the others are facing very little to no time in prison. Should my brother have to do their time as well?? My brother was born here in the United States which last I heard makes him an American Citizen. I will say from the start of all of this my brother hasn't been treated fairly. Rather he has been treated like he's a terrorist; as if the government has a personal vendetta against him for being of Arabic descent. How fair is that? And according to the government my brother is a flight risk because he is of middle eastern descent rumored to have dual citizenship in another Arab country which is impossible as in a family custody trial he willingly surrendered his US passport giving him no means of leaving the U.S. All those that love him are here in the U.S., so why would he leave?? We have exhausted all options on money for attorney's fees and we need to file an appeal within ten days to help reduce my brothers sentence to something more fair so that he can come home to his family and be there for his children sooner rather than later. My brother has been sitting in a jail cell since last September while the others have had everyday home with their families in their mansions and fancy cars still living the lifestyle of the wealthy while my brother has had everything taken away from him and has been left with nothing... You may or my not believe what I say but facts speak for themselves: My brother Adley sits in a Federal Jail Cell in Virginia, away from his family and friends who all live in Texas, possibly serving the rest of his life in prison for crimes committed by his business partners. So I'm asking for your help, if you can donate anything at all for us to put towards attorney's fees to file my brother an appeal please do so.
