Η φίλη μας η Αριάδνη και η οικογένεια της, στις 20 Ιουλίου 2022, στη μεγάλη φωτιά στην Πεντέλη Αττικής, έχασαν το σπίτι τους αλλά και το σπίτι μας. Ένα σπίτι που γνωρίζουμε και αγαπάμε όλη μας τη ζωή. Ας βοηθήσουμε όλοι να ξανά χτίσουμε τις παλιές μας αναμνήσεις.

Όποιος είχε επισκεφτεί το σπίτι μας, γνωρίζει ότι πάντα ακουγόταν μια όμορφη μουσική στο σαλόνι, υπήρχε πάντα τσάι στην κουζίνα και οι πίνακες του πατέρα μου στόλιζαν τους τοίχους - αφορμή για συζητήσεις με αγαπημένους ανθρώπους. Μέσα σε λίγα λεπτά, όλα αυτά γίναν στάχτη. Το μόνο που έμεινε είναι οι αναμνήσεις 20 χρόνων. Το σπίτι δεν το κάλυπτε η ασφάλεια, είναι η μοναδική κατοικία μας, οι καιροί είναι πολύ δύσκολοι και ο μόνος τρόπος για να ξαναχτίσουμε κάτι, έστω και κοντά σε αυτό που ήταν, είναι μέσω συνεισφορών. Παρακαλούμε από τα βάθη της καρδιάς μας όποιον μπορεί να μας βοηθήσει. Θα εκτιμήσουμε την κάθε συνεισφορά σας.

On the 20th of July 2022, during the devastating wildfire of
Penteli, our dear friend Ariadni and her family lost their home but
also our home. A home we knew and loved for many years. Let's all help
rebuild our lost memories.

Anyone
who has ever visited our home remembers the sound of serene music
playing in the living room, the ever-present scent of fresh tea in the
kitchen and my dad’s paintings adorning our colourful walls - a
starting-off point for discussions with our loved ones. In just a few
minutes, during Tuesday’s disastrous wildfires, everything turned to
ash. The only thing left is the memories of the past 20 years. Our
home was not insured for fire damage - which led to the complete
destruction of everything except a few walls - and it is our primary
(and only) residency. Times are in general very rough in Greece and
the only way to build back something that we can call home again is
through your help. From the bottom of our heart we really appreciate
and are thankful for any and all support.
