Dear all,

I am creating this fundraising page with my girlfriend, Yuliia, on behalf of her mother and those working hard alongside her in the north of Mykolaivska region, Ukraine. Elena Shcherbyna, Yuliia's mother, is the political head of Prybuzka OTH (a community north of Mykolaiv made up of 13 villages) and has been working tirelessly since the beginning of the war to maintain morale and control in their region.

They are currently working directly with the local defence division to ensure that safety and security can return not only to their local area, but to the entire sovereign state of Ukraine. Whilst things have stayed relatively stable for the recent weeks, the feeling of the ticking clock never stops, and the local government want to find a way to help as much as they can. We are hoping to raise money to be able to continue providing decent food provisions, and to buy a car to help facilitate the transport of these provisions. The car in particular is of importance right now as they are relying on a 50 year old truck which is on its last legs. Transport is essential not just for providing essential food and water, but also for helping remove those injured from danger, among other things.

All money raised will be passed directly to those in Mykolaivska Oblast, who will use proceeds to pay for transportation to assist those defending the region (pictured is what they plan to buy). After this most essential of resources is covered, remaining money will provide provisions, including defensive equipment and food. With your help, we hope that the region will remain safe and out of the hands of those who are trying to occupy it, and that the atrocious war crimes committed in Mariupol, Bucha, and other places in the country, are not allowed to take place elsewhere.
