On September 27, 2021 Stephanie Alexia Valentine and her father, Shad Valentine, were in a tragic accident that unfortunately ended up being fatal for our sweet girl.  She was only 17 years old, on track to graduate high school.  She was a daughter, grand-daughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend and so much more during her time here on earth.  One positive thing that came from this horrible tragedy was that she was a perfect match for so many others who were in need of multiple life saving organ transplants.  So far we know of 5 people who she has saved so far that may have not survived without her.  So far they found a match for her heart, lungs, pancreas, liver and kidneys.  Unfortunately, with this being such an unexpected incident, we were not as prepared as we wish we were.  Her father is still in the ICU and funds available are low to cover her funeral and cremation expenses.  Everyone in the family who is able to chip in are doing all we can.  We understand that this isn't an ideal time for many people who are struggling.  We don't expect anyone to help if you also do not have the financial stability that we too are struggling with.  We're asking ONLY if you can help, even if it's a dollar, anything will help at this point, but please do not break yourself.  We greatly appreciate anyone and everyone that does help donate toward this unfortunate circumstance.  We will be holding a public viewing for her soon as well as a small service in Norwich where we're from.  If anyone would like to attend, please reach out to us and we can give you that information once we have all the details.  Again, we cannot express our appreciation enough for everyone who has helped already and everyone who is able to help moving forward.  If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Shandy Worsham or Stephanie (Cooley) Ryder via Facebook or via phone if you have our numbers.  Thank you again, so much.  You don't know how much this means to our family.
