Mystic recently finished her 2nd round of surgeries and is doing fabulous!  She has recovered nicely without much issue.  The change in the way the anesthetic was done helped her recover much easier as well.  Within 36 hours she was back to her old self., rather than struggling.  

In true Mystic form, she just 'rolls' with whatever she's handed and is happy.  Lots has changed for our girl in the past year and there are more changes to come as she works hard to overcome the last of her obstacles.  Sadly the list of issues that still remain isn't over, though she is now working on 'minor' things considering.  

Her continued weight increase of the past months is very concerning.  Even dieting has done nothing to help the pounds from coming.  Unfortunately, due to her excessive breeding, her back legs suffered nerve damage.  With the continued weight her back legs are unable to hold her weight and are collapsing under her.  We were given three choices for a new diet based on calorie intake as now she needs to drop that intake considerably.

After discussing things in depth it was decided that Mystic would begin a raw diet with veggies.  She's also had another supplement for her legs added to the several she is currently on.  She is LOVING the new plan and even has a 'Dinner Dance' (Yay, burn those calories baby!) when she knows mealtime is coming. (We will see if they can catch the dance on video for us!).

We are looking for sponsors to help Mystic and her new expenses.  We will be looking for sponsors each month.  Hopefully this will help and Mystic can focus on her remaining issues....we are sure she is done with all the picking and poking!....Her weight, skin, snot and back legs.   Her fundraisers will cover the 15th-15th each month.
