The gist? My girlfriend lives in France, I live in the US.

Since August 17th, quite a few things have happened to me.

  • I've been hit by a car while on my bike/fined $300/getting sued
  • My computer broke one day out of nowhere and I had to get a $200 loan for a new one
  • I've had no money to afford my anti-depressants for a month+
  • My dorm got broken into/my brand new laptop destroyed
  • I have been alerted that I'm being kicked out of my college, and had to apply to join a new one (where I will be hopefully studying abroad!)

I don't ask for much from people. I tend to keep to myself and deal with the consequences of my actions. But I think this past semester pushed that.

I met an amazing girl who made me smile just by logging on. She's always positive and encouraging and she's so great for me. But... she lives in France, and I live in the USA. My school has a study abroad program that I'm eligible for: I just need to get a visa and passport on my own. But being in a low-income family, I can't afford something like that.

For this to work, I have to raise at least $350 to be able to fully afford these fees -- by New Year.

And that's where I need help. I've gotten tons of help for things like medical issues in the past, and I know that I can get help in this, too. If you can donate anything or spread the word, I'd appreciate it greatly! Thank you!
