The Get Lost with Leanore Graphic Novel

My name is Leanore, and I have a dream of being an established artist within the graphic novel community. I have been a dedicated artist for more than half of my life now, and creating art is the only thing I want to do with my life. I will be 25 on February 21st of 2014 and I am hoping to take advantage of an opportunity to catapult my career into high gear!Alterna Comics President and Lead Publisher, Peter Simeti, an I have already discussed some of the details of my project and Alterna is eager to publish it! The only problem is how long it will take me to complete the project without a little help from kind hearted contributors!

GreenLighting a Dream

With all the puzzle pieces coming together to form my dream of writing, drawing and creating a published Graphic Novel (or two), it's easy to see why I would be so eager to push the project through to completion.

Part of why it could end up taking me over another year to complete the project for publication is my need to maintain an income stream during the project. Art is more than just a hobby for me, it's how I earn a living. So in the process of producing the first and proceeding Get Lost with Leanore Graphic Novels, I will also be trying to support myself with side projects.

99.99% of all the earnings from this fundraiser will go towards outsourcing some of the grunt work. I have some colleagues in the artistic community that I would love to bring on board to help with the project, but I would also like to pay them for their efforts. What is left after that will go directly into promoting the project in order to ensure a successful release! Every little bit contributed will mean the world to me, I promise you this.

The Impact

Even the smallest contribution to this fundraiser will mean all the difference to the success of this project and the over all success of my future goals. I will be constantly updating this campaign with the latest bits of concept art and information regarding the progress. I don't want anyone to think that this is anything less than a desperate act by an eager artist to further herself in life.
