My Journey of Faith, Strength & Healing
Hi, I’m Arlene, a wife, mother, personal trainer, and wellness coach. I’ve dedicated much of my life to helping others become stronger, healthier, and more confident. Never did I imagine that one day, I would be the one needing a little extra strength and support.
Recently, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and on November 6, I’ll be undergoing a double mastectomy.
As someone who has always believed in pushing through challenges, this journey has taught me that strength isn’t always about how much you can carry. Sometimes, it’s about allowing others to help carry you.
During my recovery, I’ll have to step away from the work I love. Unfortunately, I don’t qualify for salary replacement, which means my family and I will be navigating this chapter without my regular income.
I’m creating this fundraiser to help ease the financial burden of everyday household expenses while I focus on healing, recovering, and getting back to my family, my clients, and the passion that gives me so much purpose.
I’m choosing to walk this journey with faith, strength, gratitude, and a positive attitude. I know there will be difficult days, but I also know that no one has to face life’s toughest moments alone.
My motto has always been, “Building a Beast Is an Inside Job.” Today, those words mean more to me than ever.
