We are reaching out to share the challenging journey we’ve been on. Both of us are living with chronic medical conditions, and we are now facing the heartbreaking reality of being evicted from our home. As we navigate this difficult situation, we are making plans to relocate to Virginia, where we hope the warmer climate will help alleviate some of our health issues and provide access to more reliable healthcare professionals.
Our situation has been particularly tough for Chris, who began experiencing unexpected fainting episodes a few months ago. Since then, he has struggled to maintain employment and has applied for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), adding to our stress. I already receive SSDI, but the uncertainty surrounding Chris’s health remains. Despite undergoing extensive testing, including brain scans and heart examinations, we are still seeking clear answers. Unfortunately, he has become unable to go anywhere without assistance.
We urgently need financial support to facilitate this move, as time is of the essence. Our landlord has made it clear that there will be no flexibility on her part, leaving us in a precarious situation. The thought of being without a home is overwhelming, and we humbly ask for your help.
