Ukraine has entered its third harsh winter of war, after more than 1,000 days of conflict. Energy infrastructure across the country has been heavily damaged, leaving millions of people facing daily power outages. Despite ongoing repair efforts many households—especially in Kyiv—experience rolling blackouts lasting 13–17 hours a day, or without power for more than 24-36 hours.
Through this fundraiser, I want to help my older brother, Volodymyr, who has been disabled since childhood, and my elderly parent, who live together in a detached house. They are struggling to cope with long periods without electricity, heat, and light during the winter.
The funds raised will go toward batteries and an inverter—or, if possible, a portable power station—to provide reliable backup power. This support would help them stay warm, safe, and independent during outages and reduce their constant reliance on an unstable electricity supply.
My goal is to help them gain a small but vital level of energy independence during this difficult time.
