The Human Rights Advocate is raising funds for lost wages, food and shelter, theft, hacking, harassment and other issues related to human trafficking and identity theft. These funds are in lieu of compensation for human trafficking agreements which often set out severe and illegal terms and conditions of undue hardship which are expected to be met. One of these such agreements was job-curriculum-vitae, which was first posted online in 2011 almost 15 years ago. We help people who have been targeted for human trafficking get access to essential services both on and off the system, and support their transition back to society where they belong. Every act of kindness, every dollar, and every moment of your time brings us closer to achieving our mission. Together, we can create a brighter, more compassionate future for all.
How you can help power our mission:
Donate: Every dollar counts. Contribute now to help us reach our goal.
Participate: Subscribe. Join the discussion. Take our polls and surveys. Attend our online and in-person events.
Share: Share our campaign with your friends, family, and on social media.
Your advocacy turns up the volume on our cause, powers our campaigns and has a transformative impact on our lives. Your support means the world to us.
Thank you for your generosity and support!

Our official launch date is January 15, 2026. The first 100 people to make a donation within 10 days of our official launch date are eligible to win one of 10 care packages in gratitude with the help of our sponsors. All donors receive an automatic 12-month subscription to our news updates, polls, events and other group activities along with a copy of our book - soft release date is Wednesday, March 18, 2026 followed by a series of promotional events taking place through to Sunday, March 22, 2026.

About Us
Our Work
The Human Rights Advocate was formed in 2011 to provide advocacy, representation and support to people who suspect but may not be able to prove that human rights related crimes may have been committed against them. We help them to identify the nature of the crime to take early and swift legal action, since they may be discovering that they may not have a choice but to do so at a later date.
Certain grades of harassment or discrimination including stalking, trolling and disrespect may be a threat to your personal safety if not an outright death threat. If it is not a death threat the experience can be menacing or harrowing regardless - a wave of break and entries, theft, hacking, identity theft, significant losses in income, social isolation with no parental or marital status, serious health issues, and unnecessary brushes with the criminal or justice system may be chasing after you until your death and the whole way there you are expected to suffer in silence with no explanation or accountability on the part of a known or invisible assailant. If you believe you are under attack, mental health issues may start to appear, either in reality, or with outside help.
We provide the tools and support needed to build a better life and future for you and your children, with a strong emphasis on employment, social obligations, fiduciary standards of care and releasing socioeconomic and geopolitical binds from law abiding citizens who may have been targeted for human trafficking.
A TIMELINE
April 13, 2011 - An online human trafficking agreement is posted online. It is a global list of targeted individuals in countries from around the world including Latin America and New Zealand. Members of the general public are indeed being stalked or "headhunted" for human trafficking at this time.
August 15, 2012 - An online human trafficking agreement is found and reported to The Toronto Police after a sharp increase in public stalkings puts the issue on high alert.
November 15, 2016 - Our Campaign Manager, Georgette Sebro, is stalked from Bathurst and Fleet to Yonge and Bloor in Toronto, Canada, four years and three months after the cybercrime is reported to the Toronto Police.
May 22, 2017 - Our first fundraising initiative, "Campaign One: Cybercrime, Human Trafficking and "Missing Persons" is launched on Gofundme. We run a series of mailings before going on hiatus for six months on September 30, 2024.
March 28, 2025 - We resume our fundraising efforts with a 12-month in-person campaign which began on March 28, 2025
January 15, 2026 - The official launch date for our email campaign on Fundrazr! Our books and webinar series are to be published this spring.
Thank you for visiting! Your generosity and support means the world to us.
