Hi friends,

I’m asking for a little help because my PC suddenly died after a brief power outage. The power supply appears to have failed completely, and without it, my computer will not turn on at all.

This PC is not just a hobby machine for me.

I use it every day for writing and developing my long-running fantasy and webnovel projects, including The Fractured Wizard and several connected story worlds. Writing is how I cope, how I stay grounded, and how I keep my creativity alive.

I also use my PC for digital art, 3D modeling, and game development work in Blender and Unreal Engine.

I create and maintain a webcomic called Growlution, which I produce directly inside Unreal Engine. While it currently has a content buffer that lasts until February, that time will pass quickly without access to my main workstation.

I also work on a side project called Nexus Odyssey, which I develop during breaks from Growlution. It is a story-driven project that relies heavily on the same tools and system. These projects are part passion, part future goals, and part how I keep moving forward when life gets heavy.

Beyond creative work, my PC is essential for day-to-day life. It’s how I manage files, communicate, research, plan, and stay connected. Right now, losing it has effectively cut me off from a huge part of my routine and stability.

The good news is that a failed power supply usually protects the rest of the system. That means replacing the PSU should bring my PC back to life without needing to rebuild everything.

The bad news is that I’m not in a position to replace it on my own right now.

I’m raising funds specifically to purchase a reliable, high-quality power supply so I can safely restore my system and get back to writing, creating, and working.
