Hey, my name is Alex, and my goal and dream has always been to go to America and play football over there. For the past 3 years, I have been playing for Stamford Academy completing my Level 2 qualification in my first year earning a Distinction*. I'm due to complete my Level 3 this May and have just accepted a position within the US Sports Scholarships for the next 4 years of my academic life. If you don't know me, then you will know someone who does and they have shared this fundraiser with you in good faith and believe I'm fully deserving of any support you can give.
I have put in the hard work both in and outside of college to reach the highest level I can, not only physically but also mentally. I have suffered two big injuries tearing my MCL and meniscus and have come back stronger both times and have displayed the best of my abilities to earn this chance.
The costs involved are higher than I can afford and despite receiving help from my parents and Uncle Jonathan to get me this far, I still need to find substantial amounts so to keep me in the college whilst I am over there.
Alongside my full 5 days at college, I also work 18 hours at the weekend so rarely get a day off! This is the hard work I am prepared to put in and every spare penny I have will go towards my US Sports Scholarship fund.

Fees:
$12000 - $16000 per year
Scholars can work 20 hours per week earning $6000 on Campus whilst attending college. I will take every opportunity to do this so to self-fund as much as I can.
Years 3 and 4 can be renegotiated with the college which can mean a lower fee all the way down to zero fees (a "full ride") dependant on performance and goals hit in the first and second year.
