Everyone keeps telling me to sell my paintings. Well, I am gonna do just that or die trying to! After I retired, I couldn’t figure out what I would do with my spare time—you know after cleaning the house and working in the yard//how much of that free and boring stuff can a woman do—Right?? So, I went out and bought a few items and came home and tried painting. Guess what??? I love it!!! Every piece of art that I do is so very Different and just Unique! No painting is the same and I don’t copy anything that I see—I just start painting and my hands just know what to do with the paint and paper. Sounds wild—Right???

My family—especially my daughter —Hope and Tommy are my my biggest fans and are always on my side and giving me courage to keep painting.

And most of all: “When I lay my head on my pillow— I look up at GOD and thank him for giving me this!!! Without him, I would be lost!!! Thank you, Brenda Kaye Bishop (aka: Katie)
