My brother left the Bahamas over 2 months ago, and he had no
choice but to return to Peru because his Bahamian permit is only
valid for a year.
I cannot do much without him. He was really my right hand in
everything, and lately I find myself unable to lift the dogs or
carry the food due to the attack and beating I received 3 weeks ago
when someone tried to rape me on the streets.
I don't know if I am going to get better soon or
worse, but I am not ok.
His plane ticket costs
$1,202.70 and another $2,100 for his year permit to reside in the
Bahamas with me as his guardian.
The refuge will be closing its
door September 1st of 2020 and only leaves us almost a year here
until the lease ends.
There is so much for my brother to do in
repairing all the damages caused by the dogs and it has been almost
the death of me all this time alone doing the work of an army
without much sleep.
My daily routine is from 5am till 3am next
day.
Cleaning, feeding, going to the vet, feeding and
medicating dogs on the streets day and night, not to mention the
amount of work that it is keeping with the landscaping mowing the
lawn twice a week in this huge property leaving me with no life for
me or any rest even when I am sick.
Salvatore, the last to come
to the refuge is a huge responsibility from his disability and with
him I now have 74 dogs that wait for me to do it all.
Can you please help so my brother can come back for another year?
