Tree of Life Foundation is a Christian mission organization started by Tammy Donahue in Nairobi, Kenya. What we do is rescue, rehabilitate, shelter and educate street children.
We currently have 11 former street children in school. We also continue to reach out to current street children via our twice a week feeding program. Usually 15-19 kids turn up for that. Some of them say they would like to go to school as well.
School in Kenya is expensive, especially for the ones who are now in high school. Some of the kids have sponsors, which is extremely helpful, but the expenses still exceed donations.
Our kids are in 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grade. Here in Kenya it's currently school break which means they'll return to school the first week of May and need school supplies, transport and fees paid.
We need to raise at least $450.00 to help with the costs of them returning to school. Thank you very much!
