is Mas, i work in South Glos for a charity that helps women and
children escape Domestic Violence.

So, why should you fund me? I have spent the last 17 years doing
both paid and voluntary work in the fields of domestic and sexual
violence and hate crime. I also have volunteered in my community
throughout this time and still do. Generally i volunteer around 25-30
hours a month.
I now work as a Refuge Support Worker which essentially means
that i run a refuge for 6 women and their families, supporting them in
whatever ways are necessary.
Earlier this year i self funded my training as an IDVA
(Independent Domestic Violence Advisor) and qualified in June. It has
always been my end goal to be an ISVA, Independent Sexual Violence
Advisor, i have been working towards this.
There is no capacity at my work to finance my training although
i am authorised and given the time to pursue it. It is costing me £550
for the training, £150 to travel by train and £510 for accommodation.
I will have to pay 8% total in fees to Razr and Paypal, i will cover
food myself. I am happy to post receipts and details publically or
privately. The training is in Leeds, i will stay at the Novotel where
the training is held.
