Christiane lives with 6 rescued dogs and has been a volunteer and supporter of both Pets without Vets and Potcake Place dog rescue group. She decided to combine her two passions by doing the "Climb For Paws" fundraiser climb for Pets without Vets & Potcake Place, hoping to generate more awareness of the plight of street dogs and generate needed funds for these two non profit organizations.

Potcake Place Rescue
Jane Parker-Rauw | Founder of Potcake Place Dog RescuePotcake Place is a charitable dog rescue group on Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Their mission is to reduce the number of homeless pot cakes, feral local dogs on these islands. Founded by Jane Parker-Rauw, Potcake Places is solely run by volunteers and supporters who donate funds to the cause. An average of 600 pot cake dogs ( mostly puppies) are re-homed to the USA and Canada annually, thanks to the endless efforts of Jane and her team of volunteers. Pets Without Vets
Dr. Robin Brennen on the right, founder of Pets Without Vets
Pets without Vets works with local humane organizations to reduce pet over-population, teach ethical and humane treatment of animals and to instill a basic appreciation of the communities resident animal population. Pets without Vets deploys teams of highly skilled veterinarians and licensed veterinary technicians and adjunct staff to conduct large scale spay/neuter and wellness clinics. By collaborating with the local animal welfare groups we teach them how to support these clinics and provide education and consultation to ensure that these clinics can be sustained over time. Pets without Vets is 100% staffed by volunteers who donate their time to bring hope to animals who need it most.
