More information:

Homes For Good has years of experience providing homeless residents with a fresh start by helping them find a home through the Housing First Model. The Housing First Model was developed in New York in 1992 called Pathways to Housing First. The program is simple, we provide someone with a home first, no strings attached, then we provide them with all the support services they require. Based on our experience, Homes For Good needs to subsidize someone’s rent for 18 months. Why 18 months? This is the average amount of time someone requires to get back on their feet and be self-sufficient.

A Homes For Good client receives $375 a month for welfare housing allowance. Homes For Good pays the difference that is required to support market rental rates. This is why I am committed to raising $6,800 – this is the difference between welfare housing allowance and market rent for 18 months.

Homes For Good provides all the household items to provide a warm loving home for our clients.
