Hello.. This is Kohyn, He has been diagnosed with ALCAPA, a rare heart defect. When he was born he seemed to be a very happy and healthy, (cute and cuddly) lil' boy. His Mommy and Daddy had tried to conceive for a long time and finally on Sept 8th 2013, He came in to this world as a miracle to the most loving and deserving parents a baby could ever dream or hope for. Sadly, He is not doing so well.. As the months following his birth, he failed to gain any weight, and by 3 months old, he actually started losing weight. On November 11th, he was rushed to Primary Children's Hospital in Congestive Heart Failure. The last few weeks have been very difficult. Just this Monday, December 16th, he had emergency open heart surgery. The doctors also had to repair his mitral valve. The Specialist gave his family little hope of survival ~ But He is a fighter and he is doing his best to stay here on earth and raise his parents.;)
