Chris is a student athlete currently attending Vancouver Island University making the transfer to Simon Fraser University NCAA Div 2 in the 2013 fall season. Looking for support to help fund private hip surgery to repair a torn labrum. Chris has been awarded an athletic scholarship to SFU but must have private surgery because the medical wait list stretches over a year. The private surgery will enable him to participate in the 2013 season as the recovery time is approximately 3-5 months after surgery. He has a long history of injuries including chronic back problems which put him on the sidelines for close to two years until having an operation. This recent injury set him back once again and it hasn't been easy. The only way forward is through private healthcare. Surgery has been booked for April 9th, 2013.
