Our dear friend Jaime Smith (husband of Julli Scott) was diagnosed with late stage lung cancer in June 2012. Jaime underwent two rounds with chemo and radiation with the hopes of shrinking the tumor enough to have his lung removed. The tumor did respond favorably to the treatment, but unfortunately Jaime's healthy lung was not capable of doing the job alone, so the surgery was cancelled and he was sent home. As you can imagine, fighting this battle is tough enough, not to mention adding in all the medical expenses. His short term disability is still not approved. Although he has a wonderful support circle of his wife, his family and friends and his precious dog Tonk, we'd like to ease his mind about finances and focus on his next step in getting better. If you can help by donating $5 or $100, every gesture made is one appreciated. In addition to Jaime being diagnosed with small cell carcinoma in the summer of 2012, he also married his wife, Julli after 21 years together. They finally tied the knot June 30, 2012 and immediately started their efforts to kick cancer's butt! Thank you for your kindness & may God continue to bless you all.
