Sasha is a 4 year old Chow Chow / Golden Retriever mix. This fundraiser is to raise money for a second ACL surgery on her other knee, 50% of dogs who go through the surgery on one knee, will need the other. She is currently on meds and bed-rest.
Sasha is a 3 year old Chow Chow / Golden Retriever mix. She was rescued by a very nice lady in Tracy, CA in February of 2010. She was spotted off the road hiding in a storm drain and it took her several days coming back and luring her to finally get her to come out. The first time me and my family met her she was extremely shy and wasn't comfortable with even being pet. It was love at first sight though and I decided to rescue her. She has learned so much from coming to doggie daycare with me and has come a long way with her behavior and coming out of her shell. Sasha loves playing with her dog friends, (especially her sister Roxy, the pug) running and jumping in the backyard, going on hikes and long walks, and other doggie events. Unfortunately, Sasha has recently been diagnosed with a serious ACL injury, a Ruptured Cranial Cruciate Ligament. This means no running or jumping and always leashed and controlled outside. She went from tip-toeing on her foot to non weight-bearing, and it breaks my heart to watch her in pain, and knowing she will not be able to enjoy any physical activities. The surgery she needs is very extensive. This page is to help raise funds and awareness for her cause (unfortunately this injury is common and happens easily.) I will be working on crafts and doggie items for purchase along with accepting ANY amount of donations. Every dollar helps! "Like" us on FaceBook!
