On Saturday evening November 10th a vacant home exploded in the Richmond Hill subdivision in Indianapolis. The blast took the lives of a Greenwood school teacher and her husband, damaged 80 homes, and hundreds of residents were forced to evacuate their homes.

These people need your help in many ways. Please consider volunteering your time and donating food, supplies and/or money to help with the relief effort.

This is the worst time of year for a tragedy like this to happen. Please do all you can to help and to spread the word.

If you would like to donate food, bottled water, clothing, toiletries, diapers, toys, pet food, gift cards, or other items in person please go to Southport Presbyterian Church located at 7525 McFarland Boulevard, Indianapolis, IN (Approximately Stop 11 and Emerson Ave)

If you have the time to volunteer with the clean up effort please do so by first visiting http://www.southportpc.org/relief/ print and complete the volunteer forms and bring them with you to Southport Presbyterian Church 7525 McFarland Blvd, Indianapolis, IN 46237.

If you would prefer to donate money you may do so in person at the church or through this website and 100% of the proceeds will be used to purchase the above items that are in the most need, items necessary to assist with the clean up, or to provide temporary assistance to the victims. I will be coordinating with Southport Presbyterian Church, the Red Cross, and Ready Indy to determine specific needs, use the funds accordingly, and will post pictures of receipts either here or through Facebook so everyone can see where their donations are going.

Our goal is $5000... Obviously this only a drop in the bucket of what is needed but once we reach this goal we will adjust it accordingly.

If you cannot afford to donate or volunteer then please at the very least share this page with your friends via Facebook or email.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to email me at

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR GREATLY NEEDED SUPPORT!
