My name is Onnice Cordalina Reyes, and together with my family, we are reaching out to the generosity of anyone who may be able to support us.
Since 2022, our mother has been facing a difficult battle against high-risk stage IIIA IgG kappa multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer that affects the plasma cells in the bone marrow.
Over the years, she has received several chemotherapy regimens; however, her response has been partial, and the disease has continued to progress. Her health is currently fragile, and she needs to continue treatment with a specialized medication called Daratumumab (Darzalex), recommended by her medical specialists as an essential part of her care.
What worries us most is that we have been waiting approximately three years for a response regarding the authorization and coverage of this medication. Meanwhile, time continues to pass, and the disease shows no mercy.
For this reason, we have decided to start this fundraising campaign. Our goal is to raise the resources needed to help cover the costs associated with obtaining the medication, continuing her treatment, medical tests, consultations, and any other expenses that may arise throughout this process.
We are not asking for help out of convenience, but because our family needs support to give Mom the opportunity to continue fighting for her life. We know that this treatment represents a considerable financial burden and that, on our own, it is becoming increasingly difficult to manage.
