I’m reaching out today with a humble heart, asking for a little help during one of the most difficult financial situations I’ve faced.

For several years, I’ve dedicated my time to serving my community as a volunteer firefighter, answering calls for help whenever someone needed me. I’ve also worked as an independent contractor providing family support services, helping children and families through difficult situations.

Unfortunately, recent state-mandated restrictions involving travel and mileage have significantly affected my ability to work. For over a month and a half, I’ve had no work at all , leaving me without the income I depended on to pay my bills and meet my everyday expenses.

During this same time, I’ve experienced several unexpected vehicle problems. Both of my vehicles have ended up in repair shops, and although repairs have been made, I simply don’t have the money needed to get them released.

As if that weren’t enough, I’ve fallen behind on my household bills, resulting in both my electricity and water being disconnected. I’ve been doing everything I can to get back on my feet, but every time I feel like I’m making progress, another obstacle seems to appear.

The good news is that I’ve recently accepted a new job, which gives me hope for a fresh start and the opportunity to rebuild my financial stability. However, without reliable transportation, getting to work and maintaining that employment becomes another challenge.

I’m not asking for someone to take care of me indefinitely. I’m simply asking for a helping hand to get through this difficult chapter so I can get back to work, restore my utilities, and begin moving forward again.

Any donations received will go directly toward:

• Getting my vehicles released from the repair shops.
• Paying my past-due electric bill and restoring service.
• Paying my water bill and having service reconnected.
• Helping me regain stability as I transition into my new employment.

I’ve spent many years being the person who answers the call when someone else needs help. Asking for help myself is something I never imagined having to do, and it certainly isn’t easy.

If you’re able to donate, no matter how small the amount, it would mean more than words could ever express. If you’re unable to contribute financially, sharing this fundraiser or offering a prayer would be just as appreciated.

I firmly believe that difficult times don’t last forever. Sometimes we just need someone to extend a hand and help us get back on our feet.
