Sue Webb is a longtime friend I met 40 years ago when we both worked for the 1984 L.A. Olympics. We were part of the small but mighty Opening and Closing Ceremonies department: I was the Illustrator and Graphic Designer, and Sue was the Logistic Coordinator for all the trucking and semis it took to get the show on the road. Over the years, Sue has worked hard as an independent contractor, organizing logistics for both large corporations and small mom & pop companies. Her dedication and work ethic have always inspired those around her.

Recently, Sue has faced a series of challenges that have turned her life upside down. She lost her two part-time jobs and was diagnosed with Acute Pancreatitis, which causes crippling nausea, debilitating stomach pains, high blood pressure, and constant migraine-type headaches. These health issues have made it impossible for her to look for work, leaving her out of money, with rent due and essential services at risk of being cut off. Sue has no other safety net to rely on during this difficult time.
