I never thought I’d write these words publicly.

But sometimes, love alone isn’t enough — sometimes you need support.

I am a mother of four children.

Right now, going back to work as if everything were “normal” is simply not possible.

My 5-year-old lives with severe anxiety, Tourette’s syndrome, and ADHD.

For him, summer camps are not a source of fun or freedom — they are a major source of stress, destabilizing and overwhelming. Every morning feels like a battle. Every separation is heavy and emotionally taxing.

My baby has a significant motor delay.

Attending daycare is complex, fragile, and worrying. He needs time, consistency, and security. I need to be there to support him, advocate for him, and help him progress at his pace.

Combine all of this — the special needs, appointments, sleepless nights, mental load, and emotional fatigue — and it becomes clear: this is not about willpower.

It’s about family survival.

My maternity leave is ending.

Financially, staying home is extremely difficult.

Humanly, going back to work now would be devastating.

I am not asking for comfort.

I am not asking for luxury.

I am asking for time.

Time to protect an anxious child.

Time to support a vulnerable baby.

Time to allow my family to get through this period without falling apart.

This campaign is for people who are fortunate enough to have a little extra and want to make a direct, meaningful, human impact: helping a mother stay where her presence matters most.

Funds raised will go exclusively to cover part of the lost income from extending my maternity leave, to meet essential family needs, and to avoid a rushed return to work with real consequences for my children.

I keep anonymity by changing the children’s names, out of respect.

But their reality is very real.
