A note from the Mother.

After speaking with a Rabbi, who has given guidance and wisdom, I was advised the best decision was to reach out to my community. Here is some background story.

• I have a daughter getting married in 3 weeks under the chuppah. My life has drastically changed in weeks. I am a former stay at home Mom. I went back to the workforce part-time, but last year, I got diagnosed with cancer and was out of work. (BH, I am 8 months cancer free)  
  
• With what seemed to be such a dark and challenging time, I kept my faith and leaned on the fact that I had children that needed me and I needed them. I also had a community that was pulling for me. To top it off, my daughter was graduating from college, which I took on. Her biological father died her sophomore year. I have truly worked hard in ensuring she is taken care of.  Baruch Hashem, she found her beshert and will soon be under the chuppah.   
• In recent months, weeks, it has been quite the struggle. Unf ortunately, we hit a snag. The bill for the caterer is beyond my financial means and have led me to  creating this fund. I am only asking for what is needed.  My children are the light of my life. I do not want to be a burden. But they say it takes a village, I need my village. I am humbly asking for your help.
