We are starting this campaign for a rescue friend whose dog was hit by a car. Her name is Gracie and on Monday she ran outside the yard and managed to go far away. For a while they didn’t know where she was and they started a search. They found her laying by the road, looking as if she had passed out. They were in such panic thinking that she might not be alive since there was a huge blood puddle next to her. Luckily upon approaching her they realized that she is alive and took her to an emergency immediately.

She obtained some minor wounds and a major one, her back leg was broken and emergency surgery had to be preformed. After closer examination it was determined that she will need another surgery with a specialist in order to be able to walk properly again. The injury is a complex one and if not treated it could cause many issues with walking in the future. To avoid this Gracie needs to have this procedure done as soon as she is ready and stabile. The quote is $ 3000. Friends and family are all helping as much as possible but we are trying to raise at least half of this amount so the procedure can be done asap.
