Hi my name is Rachel. On Christmas Day my husband decided to tell me he wants a divorce while he is out of state on assignment. He has been wanting to leave for a while. I was hit with this news out of nowhere from him. no warning signs, never any mention of being so unhappy from him or anything, really came out of left field with this.
He was the bread winner for us due to health complications I had this year and he had the security of a job being military. Looking to move back home to friends and family and rebuild my life to what I had before him, a job, car, my own place, and financial stability. Currently I have no job, money, or a stable place to go as all my closest friends and family are over 6 hours away from me which limits my help through all of this.
Hoping I won't need to hire an attorney for this but it is looking more and more like I will need one, he is wanting me gone sooner rather than later and is quick to threaten me not getting anything, rather than talk things out. Currently living on base/post but do not know how long I have to pack and leave.
Looking to raise just enough to help with legal fees and moving expenses (packing supplies, U-Haul trailer, gas, cover any bills) and to make sure me and my dog have what we need for about 2 to 3 months, nothing more. Hoping to be able to keep one of the 2 vehicle bought during the marriage.
The plan is to move back home until further notice, so a place to stay is covered but i still need to pay my bills.
Any help received will be greatly appreciated!! Will leave less to worry about so I can focus on myself, my dog(s), find a job and just plain getting through this whole mess intact. To help make sure that I am taken care of so I can make sure my dog(s) is/are taken care of more than anything as he/they are the one thing(s) holding me together right now...
If I am able to get support from total strangers and those close to me through this, I have hope that things will be okay sooner rather than one day.
